Temperament: Petal is a cheerful character who loves playing games. She's very submissive, and due to her gawky frame a little bit awkward as well. For all her exuberance, she tends to fall over her legs occasionally, and is not fully accepted by the other young horses because she looks almost sickly thin.

As she's developed, she's retained her delicate frame but has fleshed it out, looking more as we might have expected from her sire and dam. She's matured better than we could possibly have imagined, being one of the most correct and elegantly proportioned Arabians Willowglen owns. Combined with her sweet and willing to please attitude, we're looking at pointing her into under saddle disciplines: dressage here we come!

No offense, but isn't she a bit too big to be a purebred Arab. Arabs are usually between 14-15hh.

Not really: there are plenty that fall outside that range, I've met quite a few who were 16hh (or over) and a few really sweet mares and geldings under 14, like most breeds there's a bit more than a single hand of variation ;)
