Rubaa Rubaa! She's such a show pony, look at that face Beware the fabulous forelock of doom, and she still looks older than she should bah. Oh well - its pretty at least. I'm not sure it's a 'traditional' halter, but it certainly is flashy. Bright colors all round, and I like it Expect a mane and tail tutorial soon: I used the tail from this as an example.

"Did you take curlers to her mane Pip?" demanded Jamie in horror, eyeing the bright chestnut's mane suspiciously.

"Nope."

"I don't believe you."

Pip laughed, fiddling with the young filly's excessive forelock. "Come on Jamie, she looks ~fabulous~."

Rolling his eyes, Jamie turned and walked back to his charge for this class: Blaze's colt. This new filly looked more like the progeny of Blaze than the burgundy colt did actually, but the speckling around her markings suggested she'd be as grey as her sire one day.

Adorned with a brightly colored halter, she was ready to step into the ring for the first time. Flashy and colorful were two words that would accurately describe the filly: as if she wasn't loud enough to begin with, her peacock halter was all the colors of the rainbow, and quite a stunning contrast against her rich coat.

It seemed the filly was a natural performer too, dancing and prancing around like she owned the place, flagging her flaxen tail as though she imagined owning a fully fledged banner of her own.

"You're going to be quite the horse aren't you missy?" murmured Pip, halting the chestnut to pose for the crowd and more importantly the judges.
