:new: He placed 4th in this class!

It's Blaze! Be prepared to be bombarded with pics of him, since I'd like for him to be AHA's finest by the time his first foal is born.

This entry is for *jbradin23's It's Show Time! [link] Liberty class naturally: Blaze just loves showing off. I'm really pleased with this piece and for once, the background too. Simple, but mysterious and effective.

For this routine, the stage starts very dark and Blaze moves very slowly, getting brighter as the music gets louder. Song would be something Arabic, like [link]

The cheers from the crowd died down to a hushed silence as the previous contestant was retrieved by its handler and led from the arena. Liberty performances were always a thrill for all those involved: horses, handlers and the crowd alike. After all, there is nothing more exhilarating than watching such powerful animals move with such grace to the beat of the music.

Once again, the Willowglen team had arrived bright and eager, with only one horse this time. Their star stallion, Ibn Inshalla was in the midst of the biggest showing season of his life, in the prime of his life. The newly matured stallion was smooth and gleaming; waiting expectantly in complete stillness. He knew the drill by now, and what his job was. It was quite simple really: go out there and dance.

Entering the arena, everything was dim and cast in shadow. The stallion walked on without prompting, muzzle lightly brushing Jamie's shoulder. Unclipping Blaze's halter in the center of the ring, Jamie stepped back as the music started.

Everything was dark for a moment more before a lone spotlight illuminated Blaze's stage, to reveal him standing as if cast in burnished bronze, head turned to the east. Then he was off! Floating strides ate up the ground effortlessly as dust billowed around. The music was getting faster now, and so was the dancing stallion, muscles straining as he turned sharply to pause briefly in a half rear before the judges and the audience before circling in a low slow trot like he was moving through water. That would be peculiar indeed, for the stallion looked as though he was made of flames - something magical and untouchable performing under golden lights.
