Grace at the Preparation Day for SSS Ride-a-palooza

Title literally translates to 'Investigating'

I am really quite pleased with this, as it started off as a very messy sketch and turned out quite nicely in the end As you can probably tell, I'm kind of addicted to Grace's colour, she's just so pretty! I'm going to focus on getting her to Finest in the near future

Pip had never been at a halter competition by herself. It was a strange feeling - she wasn't nervous or anything like that, it was just odd being the only one. Being a jockey she'd always been part of an entourage, quite a large one at that, and even at most shows she went to with Willowglen there was another staff member there. Today though, it was just her and the chocolaty mare beside her. Grace was one of the easier going horses in the stable with a good work ethic, even if she did like to make sure the spotlight was on her at all times. This was of course the reason Pip was here by herself - none of these horses who were liable to play up around.

The pair had arrived earlier in the day to the host stables, Pip maneuvering the trailer between the usual crowds. They were only there for the halter show, but Pip was determined to show the other staff back at Willowglen - Jamie especially - that she could show horses with the rest of them. After bathing and grooming Grace to remove any dust from her coat, she'd allowed the mare to get used to her stable. It was late afternoon when the pair stepped out for a look around the facility, in the light of the setting sun.
